Statutory Bodies

Dublin Port is a self-financing, semi-state organisation whose business is to facilitate the flow of goods, passengers and attendant tracking information through the Port. 

EPA acts as a powerful agent for change, both in attitudes to the environment and in actions on environmental protection

Dublin Docklands Development Authority leads a major project of physical, social and economic regeneration in the East side of Dublin.

Dublin Regional Authority promotes co-operation and joint action between local authorities, public authorities and other bodies.

Environmental NGOs

S2S promotes the construction of a continuous seafront promenade and cycleway from Sutton to Sandycove.                                                                                                                        
Coastwatch Ireland surveys, monitors and produces data on Ireland's coastline.
An Taisce seeks to educate, inform and lead public opinion on the environment; and to advocate and influence policy at European, national and local levels.
Birdwatch Ireland conserves and protects Ireland's wild birds and their habitats.
